Yesterday For the first timeSince I was a childI held my mother.

I held her to meAs the nurse changedHer bedsheet.

I remember how As a childShe held me in her arms - The tears I cried thenExtinguishedBy her warm body.

YesterdayThe roles were reversed. When I held herI didn't want to let go.
